George Donald lives and works in his studios at Duns in the Borders Region of Scotland.

He acts as a consultant in Arts Education and in this capacity he has links with Edinburgh College of Art Centre for Continuing Studies.

His work is on view in galleries in the UK and abroad. In Edinburgh his gallery is The Open Eye Gallery. In Glasgow, the Roger Billcliffe Gallery, and at the Bohun Gallery, Henley-On-Thames.

He is a Member of the Royal Scottish Academy, and the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour.
