George Donald lives and works in his studios at Duns in the Borders Region of Scotland.

He acts as a consultant in Arts Education and in this capacity he has links with Edinburgh College of Art Centre for Continuing Studies.
He lectures in Drawing and Anatomy at The Prince's Drawing School, London, and the Department of Art, University of Central Florida, Orlando.
His work is on view in galleries in the UK and abroad. In Edinburgh his gallery is The Open Eye Gallery. In Glasgow, the Roger Billcliffe Gallery. In Henley-on-Thames, the Bohun Gallery.
He is a Member of the Royal Scottish Academy, and the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour.
His prints may be seen at the Edinburgh Printmakers Ltd.
