Donald has taught anatomy for artists for over thirty years. He has been invited to offer public lectures and courses in life drawing and anatomy in the UK, USA, Japan and Korea. The majority of his paintings and prints are concerned with figurative themes. He teaches the subject regularly at the Prince's Drawing School, London. He has published an Artist's Book, Anatomia, on his anatomy teaching.
